Most Powerful GT-R in the World Gets More Power

The Heat Treatments R32 Nissan Skyline GT-R went back onto the dyno just a few days ago, and found even more power.  The last dyno numbers that were shown on the Heat Treatments site showed 1667 hp. Now with a bigger exhaust, and other modifications the car put down an additional  115 hp to the wheels, or it should be around 1782 hp.

They will be trying the new setup, with the increased power at the Jamboree in Queensland Australia on 21-22 August 2010.

Heat Treatments R32 GT-R : Fastest Skyline GT-R 7.57 @ 190 mph

I thought that I had posted this video up before, but I did some searches on my site, and couldnt find it.   Here’s the New Zealand built , HKS beating R32 GT-R, running 7.57 @ 190 mph

And a 7.59 @190 mph pass.

The car is spinning the front wheels fairly hardcore on the 1-2 shift. You can watch it wiggle around.  If you can see it wiggle from outside the car, inside the car, its scary.

Heat Treatments Racing from New Zealand posted a picture of a dyno readout for their R32 Skyline GT-R Drag Car.   1667 horsepower.Not a bad number. Check out this thread in the UK for some of the latest info from Heat Treatments, and a video of the car getting loose going down the dragstrip.
